Well I’ve grown up a lot this year. Tom says I’m finally an adult. Marianne is not so sure. But I love living with both of them and we have a great time driving up and down the state from Sausalito to Watsonville to Palm Springs. All in all, we have great fun together.
This year I had a dose of the sad side of life. My good friend Julie Rice died last Summer. She was really great to me. She is the one who flew me to Palm Springs when Marianne and Tom adopted me nine years ago. I used to run into her bedroom to see her at Twin Palms. I was so embarrassed when she came in one time and caught me eating her new Gucci wallet. Stupid me, I thought it was a rawhide treat.
We have more trips planned for this year, but who knows how many we will be able to take since were in this lockdown situation. Now Marianne and Tom stay home with me every day – what a nice treat that is.
