About the Creator
Christina McPhee
San Luis Obispo, California
I was born in LA and grew up on the Great Plains. I live and work on the central coast of California. Across drawing, painting, video, and photography, my work deals with topologies, or ways of understanding and knowing, by focussing on extreme shifts of scale, detail, and volume. I'm often involved in studying atmospheres of seismicity, climate emergency, the intersection of the personal and the religious, the sense of the sacred and the sense of place.
