About the Creator
Toby Sackton
LEXINGTON, ma
Toby Sackton and Marcia Butman built a house on land their family owned in Alexandria, NH, and since 1989 have been making trails (with lots of help from friends, neighbors, and family) and enjoying the woods near Mt. Cardigan. Marcia's family bought the land after years of skiing and hiking from the AMC Cardigan lodge. This guide contains maps, descriptions, and some local history about the current trails on their land, of which about 500 acres is in a conservation easement with the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests.
